Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what data Few Found collects, how it is used and the rights you have over it.
1. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, phone number, name and a hashed password
- Company profile data: company name, website, team size, services, locations, description, social links and contact email
- Verification data: the details, references and links you submit in your verification application
- Payment data: order IDs, amounts and payment status from Cashfree. We never see or store card details.
- Usage data: technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs
2. How We Use Your Data
- To run your account and show your company profile
- To review your verification application, including contacting the references you provide
- To process payments and refunds
- To send emails about your account, payments and verification status
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud
3. What Is Public
Your company profile is public in the directory unless you set it to private. For a verified company, the public verification record shows the company name, Verification ID, verification date, expiry date and the five areas checked (Identity, Business, Capabilities, Experience, References). References, application details and internal notes are never public.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Cashfree for payment processing
- Our email provider for sending emails
- Our hosting and database providers that run the website
- Authorities when required by law
5. Data Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
6. Security
Passwords are stored hashed. Sessions use signed cookies. Data is encrypted in transit with TLS.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law, you can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your account and data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
8. Cookies
Always on (necessary): a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a cookie that remembers whether to show prices in rupees or dollars, and a cookie that remembers your cookie choice. These are needed for the site to work and are not used for analytics.
Only if you choose "Accept all": a random visitor ID (no name, email or account attached) and a record of each page you view: the page address without its query string, the referring website, campaign tags (utm_), your device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language, time zone and country, and whether you were signed in. We do not store your IP address or full browser details. We use this only to see which pages and devices need improving; it is not used for advertising and never sold. We keep it for up to 13 months.
Also only with "Accept all": a cookie (up to 90 days) recording how you first reached Few Found: the campaign tags, the first page, the referring website, whether you arrived from an ad click (not the click identifier itself) and any referral code. When you then create an account or send us a campaign or sourcing request, we link that first visit to it, so we can see which channels bring real customers. With "Accept all" we may also share a one-way hashed email with an advertising platform to measure our own ads; we never share campaign details, contact details or your name. If you choose "Necessary only", none of this happens.
If you choose "Only necessary", or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, none of this is recorded. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; withdrawing consent also removes the visitor ID cookie.
Separately, we count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you: it records the page, the referring site, country and device type, and any campaign tags in the link (utm_). We remove every other part of the web address before it is recorded.
9. Fees and Refunds
Few Found Verification costs ₹12,499 per year in India and $149 per year elsewhere (billed as ₹12,499). Verification is earned, not purchased. Payment submits an application and does not guarantee approval. If the application fails the verification requirements, the fee is refunded to the original payment method. Nothing renews automatically.
